    OUR COUNTRY

First of all I suppose you can say that I'm kinda behind the world when it comes to some things. Although I have been thinking of doing a blog for some time now, I guess I just decided maybe now's the time. When the rest of the world has been blogging for some time.

I watched a movie yesterday, and I don't watch movies much, it was "Sicko" by that Moore guy. It's a damn shame that America like me is slow at doing what everyone else is doing already. It seems even the poorest of countries can give their citizens free health care and America seems to be letting the big pharmaceutical companies keep us by the short and curlies. Think of all the money they would lose if we had standard healthcare. All of the insurance companies and drug companies would basically go out of business I think. Well thats my take on that. I hope our new President, who has lived all over the world, will make great changes toward this.

Speaking of our new President Barak Obama. I voted for him and I will tell you why. He is young, he has his finger on the regular people that make up this country. He wasn't born in a political family or with a silver spoon in his mouth. Hopefully this will help him help us, the general public who have been taxed to death, while the fat cats have loopholes, favors and tax breaks that just make them wealthier. Just like the banks getting billions for a bail out then give ceo's and  presidents millions for bonus's, taking trips and having parties. It makes you wanna just shake somebody..... Wake UP.. hopefully this wont go on much longer.

As for Barak, I like the fact that he is White and Black... What really makes me mad is when he is simply called an African American. His father was an African American born in Africa, Barak was born in Hawaii...When you call him an African American you are neglecting his Mother and her family and I don't think that is right. His father had nothing to do with even raising Barak, His Beloved "White" Grandmother did. Anyway that's just my opinion on that. I hope I live long enough to see a Native American be president.

    DISABILITIES

As most of you who know me know that I have gotten to where I have a really hard time walking. I know I need my right knee done. as bad as I hate to admit it yes I do need it done. I dont know if that will help my back pain or not.  I know losing weight would help that better than anything but geeeeze, have you tried to lose weight when you cant even walk? Its about as hard as getting anorexic to eat a donut! All I can do is keep on keepin on and trying.

    WHAT I'M DOING TODAY:

Well since all the snow isn't gone yet I doubt I will go to town. I need to do the usual things, dishes laundry and try my best to sweep and mop and dust,  not that I hate doing that so much it's just really difficult when you cant walk well.

I might draw a picture or two today. I haven't drawn in several days.

Anyway, I'm signing out for now. I will blog more when something pops in my mind or something exciting happens... lol that might take a while.
