I am of American Indian and Irish decent , ( along with a few others I am sure) but the Indian side of me comes out in my art. A large
portion of my art is located in Alexandria Louisiana at Silver Dollar
Pawn. Where they also film Cajun Pawn Stars. Mr. Jimmie DeRamus (the
owner) seen my feather art on FaceBook and bought several pieces, after he
had one he had to have more.
As for the name "Miller's Hill Gallery", A dear sweet cousin of mine that I fondly called "Frog" always called where I live Miller's Hill. Frog is no longer with us so the name seemed so appropriate . Thank you so much for stopping by and perusing my site. If you haven't bought a piece of my artwork, what are you waiting for? I am a 5th generation to
live on the families farm in the south central Ozark Mountains, I grew up
and went to school in St. Louis, where I graduated from Midwest Institute
of Medical Assistants. Later I attended College at Mineral Area College in
Park Hills Mo for Computer Graphic Design and Programming. I have no
formal art training other than what I received in high school.
So if you are in the south stop by the Silver Dollar Pawn and check out my
artwork there. They are all one of a kind so you wont see anything like it
down the street or at your local art galleries, or in my gallery for that
matter. While you are there visit with the DeRamus family, they are some
of the nicest people you would want to meet. And tell them Barb sent you!
